Sound Text Media commenced trading in 1999 as a specialist library supplier for children’s backlist, adult literacy resources and audio resources. Since its commencement, Sound Text Media has not only continued in the above specialist areas,but also expanded its range to include picture books (new releases and old favourites), board books, fiction for children and young adults –both latest releases and classics, non fiction for adults and children, audio books and kits for adult and children, DVDs for adults and children, children’s readers and literacy resources, and puppets. More recently, we have broadened our range to include bilingual picture books and language kits. 

Over the last four years Sound Text Media has dramatically increased its range of latest release resources for children’s resources and adult non fiction but still focuses on small press publishers. This is due to libraries requesting to view a broader range of materials in addition to the traditional specialist resources also available.

Over the last few years, Sound Text Media has been instrumental in providing profile orders and standing orders for libraries. Libraries have drawn on our qualified staff’s knowledge, our expertise in specialist areas, breadth of products available and our commitment to customer service.
